PRODUCTS AND PIPELINE Can-Fite has a number of drugs in various stages of research and development. CF101, Can-Fite’s lead compound, , is an oral drug that has been successfully used in animal models and human Phase II rheumatoid arthritis (RA), Psoriasis and Dry Eye syndrome trials. All human clinical studies have demonstrated this drug to have an excellent safety profile. Phase IIa study data in RA indicates that CF101 has disease modifying anti-inflammatory activity in RA patients failing methotrexate (MTX) therapy. The Phase II clinical studies in Psoriasis and Dry Eye syndrome were successfully concluded showing efficacy of CF101, thereby establishing the basis for further clinical development and commercialization partnership. Can-Fite’s second compound, CF102, a highly selective agonist at the A3 adenosine receptor, is currently being tested in Phase I/II in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma and Hepatitis C. A further pipeline molecules are CF502, which is a member of a new class of human A3AR agonists and has a very high affinity and selectivity for the A3AR and CF602, an allosteric modulator at the A3AR. These compounds demonstrated activity in a variety of autoimmune inflammatory and inflammatory animal models, and will be developed as a second generation anti-inflammatory drugs. The company has a number of other molecules in research.
