CF602 is a novel A3AR allosteric modulator that enhances the receptor activity in the presence of the native ligand. The molecule is characterized by high selectivity at the A3AR and is capable of avoiding receptor desensitization, thus magnifying the agonist activity at low doses.

The activity of CF602 was examined in an erectile dysfunction rat model. A single dose of CF602 showed full recovery in erectile function.

Mechanism of Action

CF602 increases eNOS and VEGF in cavernosal endothelial cells. Repeated doses of CF602 over five days of treatment showed it partly reversed damage in the smooth muscle.
